The stages of growth for the Arabica Coffee Tree are often overlooked by the roasting community. We regularly ask ourselves where does our coffee come from, who produced it and how does it taste? It's uncommon that we consider the journey of the tree. This marvellous plant that produced the coffee cherry we love is often the unsung hero of coffee production, we decided to produce a free poster honouring the continual journey this flora needs to participate in to achieve the exceptional Speciality Arabica coffee production
Stage 1: Germination
During this period, the bean is in the ground the root will eventually begin to sprout. This can take up to 2 ½ months before the germination process begins, the ideal conditions need to be met.
