About Tanzania Coffee

Coffee is grown throughout Tanzania: Mountainous areas grow the preferred Arabica coffee trees while places of lower elevations grow Robusta.

The Northern regions of Tanzania are where some of its most favoured coffee beans are grown, the trees flourishing in high altitudes and rich soil. To the west, the lower elevation sees a mix of Arabica and Robusta being grown, while in the south of the country contains a large amount of smallholder farms growing Arabica.
